INSPIRATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Program length: 3 hours.

John Maxwell, author 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, says that "Everything rises and falls on leadership." Whether it is a corporation, a nation, a volunteer organization or a home, the leaders sets the vision, determines the activity, and models the behaviour that everyone else will follow. In this seminar, we will focus on the skills and qualities of character required to move from being a good manager… to becoming an inspirational leader. Contrary to popular opinion, knowledge is NOT power; the application of knowledge is power. Let this seminar be the catalyst to a resurgence of excellence in your pursuit of Inspirational Leadership!

Tongue-Shui: Communication Excellence Through Trust and Respect
Program length: 1-3 days.

Anthony Robbins says "The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives." Our ability to communicate effectively can either build bridges that bring people together, or leave wounds which drive them apart.

This advanced seminar is designed for teams with deep and ongoing issues of trust, respect, and safe communication. CJ Calvert will work with you and your entire team to understand the core issues, history, ongoing behaviours and team culture that is affecting your ability to communicate with trust and respect. The end result: a team that trusts and respects each other professionally, and comes to work more fully engaged than ever.

We will learn:

  • GIVING effective feedback
  • CONFIDENTIALITY in our communication
  • RECEIVING feedback positively

PLEASE NOTE:

This seminar requires greater-than-normal preparatory work on the part of you, the client organization, for it to be successful. In addition to preliminary consultative meetings with you and select other leaders, an anonymous survey will be sent to each of the participating team members. This survey makes inquiry into the facets of communication on your team, including the level of trust, respect, engagement and safety in communication. The results of the survey will not be shared with management in an effort to protect confidentiality and promote candid answers from the staff.

Further to this survey, it is recommended that I meet with select staff members for preliminary face-to-face or telephonic interviews if necessary to gather further data. All of this information is critical to revealing all issues, shaping the content and delivering an exceptional learning experience for your staff. The end goal is that they enjoy increased and ongoing improvement in their communication.

Additionally, a follow-up day of group discussion and one-on-one coaching for select staff members is highly recommended, in order to increase comprehension, retention and application of key strategies.

INSPIRATIONAL TEAMWORK
Program length: 3 hours.
